Sleepy The Clown

Sleepy The Clown

Charles discovered clowning as a teen in 1995 when he met a clown named Fester. Inspired, he immediately began to learn from as many teachers and workshops as he could, about everything ranging from juggling, improv, balloons, magic and comedy, among other topics. He attended Clown Camp Canada for two years, is a member of Winnipeg’s Bump-A-Nose clown alley, and spent 2014 as director of the Central Canadian Circus Arts Club.

In the course of his career, Sleepy the Clown has appeared all across the province, from Thompson to Emerson. He has performed at the Kid’s Fringe, Kidsfest, Festival of Fools, and the Teddy Bear Picnic, as well as several schools and countless birthday parties. Sleepy also spent January 2015 performing on the other side of the world in Dubai, U.A.E.. Whether you’re planning an event for thousands or a private party with just a few special guests, Sleepy would be more than happy to bring his vaudeville-style clowning to make your night just that much more memorable.
