JD and the Sunshine Band is a creative collaboration between musicians and street-involved people looking to create the chorus for the exotic streets of downtown Winnipeg. The band takes the stories, slang and humour off the streets, gives them a backbeat and a melody, and returns them to the road with renewed swagger. The result is unmistakably Winnipeg, like slurpees in January. Soak up the rays, friends!
